Much of the presentation about the Christian life is treated as a mere religion of rules or an add-on to our present life rather than an actual life that must be lived out regardless of the challenges of the age. The Apostle Paul stated that he was living the life of Christ by faith. Jesus stated that He is the life and instructed His followers to possess their soul in patience for that is where the main battle takes place.

     The two books in this presentation address what it means to possess our souls and what the Christian life looks like when it is being established in our inner man. Possessing Our Souls reveals the digression of a person’s soul if they fail to possess the new life of Christ in patience and meekness in the power of the Holy Spirit.

     The second book, Experiencing the Christian Life is a bonus book to show what a soul that is tempered by the Holy Spirit will reflect. For a believer to reach their potential as an overcomer and their destiny as a saint, the presence of God is necessary to actually discover, experience, and live the Christian life to possess the eternal inheritance promised them, and to ultimately reflect our Lord Jesus Christ’s glory.

     This is another book that would fit nicely as a resource book in any Christian library. It is one that will not be easily forgotten.
