   Visions Given to
   Jeannette Haley

The following accounts were given
to me in visions in 1984 and 1985.

I was standing at night upon the edge of a wild, stormy sea. The waves mounted high in a fury, tossing and pitching. Overhead was the canopy of black space, filled with shining stars. Suddenly, a bright star plummeted into the restless sea and instantly spread in two directions around the entire world. It was indescribably evil and it covered the whole world. Panic and fear filled me and I turned and fled, at which time the vision ended.

Interpretation: The sea represents nations of people in perplexity. (Luke 21:25: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;) The star represents the time of Satan’s reign over the nations of the earth in these latter days with great evil and darkness.

I found myself in a night vision outside, staring up into the heavens. Suddenly I became aware of hordes of demonic beings destined for earth. As they rapidly descended, a rather thin, dark, filmy cloud formed between them and the earth. This cloud moved wherever they moved and served as a camouflage that helped them move into their assigned positions undetected by the people below. However, the cloud coverings were very thin and if one were to truly look, the invaders could be seen.

Then there appeared to me in the heavens a brilliant clock made of stars. I counted the circle of stars and found there were thirteen rather than our usual twelve. There were no hands on this huge, heavenly clock. As the demonic forces moved across the world, I panicked and ran, seeking a hiding place in my closet. Then I asked the Lord, “Why can’t the people see what is coming?” I shall never forget His response, “Because they are all in their houses watching television.”

Interpretation: As scripture repeatedly warns, there is a time of great darkness and terror coming on the face of the earth, a time “when no man can work.” (John 9:4). The clock without hands represents God’s control of the times of all things. The number 13 represent the time of great rebellion upon the earth and the time of Satan’s reign. Thirteen represents apostasy. (See 2 Thessalonians 2:3). Scientists may tell us we are only a few minutes until “twelve” on the earth’s survival timetable, but God goes one step further!

In a dream I saw Christians, stripped naked and in single file being led to a concentration camp. There was a fish tank nearby filled with goldfish. The takeover of Christians came suddenly, overnight, without warning.

Interpretation: Obviously, this dream was about the enemy’s sudden invasion and destruction of God’s people. The fish tank was a confirmation in this way: Fish through the ages have been a symbol of Christ’s followers. The tank represents confinement and loss of freedom.

THE FIRE

One night in April of 1985 about 3:00 a.m. in Everett, Washington, I had the most terrifying dream. (That very same night, a friend’s daughter had a parallel dream in Phoenix, Arizona, which I will reveal at the conclusion of the interpretation of this dream.)

In my dream, I was oil painting outdoors with a friend. I happened to look towards one of the volcanic Mountains and saw a little puff of smoke. I said to her, “Look at the mountain. There’s smoke coming from it.” She didn’t seem concerned. I kept painting while she watched. Again, I looked over at the mountain, and this time saw a greater amount of smoke. As before, I directed her attention towards it, and then resumed painting.

The third time I looked up at the mountain and saw great billowing clouds of gray smoke and ash billowing forth in a continuous and increasing volume. Then I began to hear people screaming and while staring at the erupting mountain I became aware of multitudes of people running and screaming. They were streaming away from the mountain and running in our direction. As they came closer I saw them, one by one, bursting into flames. Their screams were horrifying, terrible, and I shall never forget it.

Meanwhile, a few firemen appeared with fire hoses and began hosing off the burning people one at a time. As soon as a fire was put out, they would turn their hose on another person, but just as quickly, the person whose fire had been extinguished burst into flames again and began screaming.

I turned and ran backwards a little ways and put my hands on the ground. I felt it shaking, and felt heat from underground fire beginning to break through. All I could do was yell to my companion to run. I woke with my heart pounding and the hideous screaming of the people ringing in my ears. It was vivid, real.

Interpretation: I believe there is much more to this dream than space will allow at this time, but briefly here are some of my understandings of this horrible revelation: There were three distinct warnings that tragedy was about to strike, but the people didn’t take it seriously. By the time everything broke loose, it was too late. The terror and suffering of the multitudes was incomprehensible, and speaks of the end times Jesus warned about in Matthew 24. The firemen represent God’s faithful remnant that are doing their best to help the people, but they were too few and too late. I knew in my spirit that I was guilty of not working in the harvest field myself.

Often prophecies and visions have double or even triple fulfillments and, in part, I have seen numerous instances in which the fire was heretical and erroneous doctrines destroying the souls of the people. The firemen were the few watchmen who still stand for the truth as once delivered to the saints and they were contending for sound doctrine. (Jude 3). Through the years of ministry I have witnessed people being set free from doctrines of demons, only to be swayed by other heretical teachings, thereby “blowing with every wind of doctrine.” (Ephesians 4:14).

THE OTHER DREAM

My friend’s daughter dreamed a like dream that very same night. It went like this: She, her husband and her mother were asleep in their apartment when suddenly the building was engulfed in flames. People were running and screaming and bursting into flames. The priest came with a squirt gun and tried unsuccessfully to put the fire out, one person at a time. She tried in vain to wake up her sleeping husband, but her mother did awake and they managed to escape the inferno.

She sat straight up in bed, screaming in terror at the reality of this dream. She, too, will never forget the sound of those screaming people.

MORE FIRE

Another time shortly thereafter I dreamed the same friend and myself went to visit some mutual friends. The husband was working in the backyard, so the wife and the two of us began preparations for lunch. The wife asked if I would run down to the pantry in her basement and fetch a jar of fruit. When I got there, I noticed a large crack forming in the cement foundation wall. Then the house began to tremble, and I saw fire glowing within that crack. I put my hands on the cement walls, (much like I did in the other dream when I put my hands on the ground), and I could feel intense heat. I ran upstairs, yelling a warning to run, for sudden destruction had come.

I awoke, much shaken by the reality of this dream.

Interpretation: Sudden destruction will come when we least expect it—when we are going about our day-to-day normal living. It would appear all the foundations are going to be shaken, and only that which is built and grounded upon the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ, will stand. He is our Rock of safety, our refuge in times of trouble.

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Deut. 32:4

Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty. Isaiah 2:10

I will put thee in the clift of a rock.Exodus 33:22

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thess. 5:3

(SEE: Matt. 7:24 and Psalm 18. For further study look up “rock”, “fire”, “sudden” and “destruction” in your Concordance.)

I have had countless dreams of an enormous, black cloud coming up from the West Coast and quickly spreading over the land.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world”  Matthew 28:19, 20
